AUTUMN LEAF FOUNDED
Autumn Leaf registers as a business.
Humanity, sharing, diversity and growth are our founding principles.
We focus on IBM software related projects.
2005
IBM PREMIER PARTNER
Autumn Leaf becomes one of a handful of IBM Premier Business Partners in South Africa. Our underlying skills include Java and Linux.
2008
INTERNSHIP
We start our first internships as well as training programmes, offering free training to communities and organisations. In this year we also shift our focus to open source technologies including Big Data and IoT.
2012
SHIFT TO OPEN SOURCE
Autumn Leaf shifts its attention to open source, building and managing innovative IoT, Big Data and NoSQL solutions. We begin our first work on AWS.
2015
OBSIDIAN SYSTEMS
We extend our relationship with Obsidian through a partnership. Autumn Leaf begins a formal academy with dedicated offices and shifts its attention to focus on AWS as a delivery platform.
2017
AWS ADVANCED PARTNER
As an organisation with a learning culture, AWS skills are quickly adopted and as a result we acquire AWS advanced partner status.. Our entire business is now Cloud focused.
2019
SOLUTION ACCELERATORS
We establish a dedicated DevOps competency and achieve AWS well-architected status.
2020-2021
GROWTH
Autumn Leaf continues to grow, currently to over 70 technical specialists. We use the disruptive period of COVID-19 and lockdown to reinvent and innovate in the areas of training, collaboration and knowledge sharing.
